Our name is a nod to the building we call home—the original Hill City bank building. Inspired by the rich history of the Black Hills, the Gold Rush era, and the generations of tradesmen, ranchers, miners, and adventurers who helped shape this region, we named the store Reserve Hat Co. to honor that legacy. The building itself once housed Black Hills Placer Gold, and today it serves as a place where western culture is continued through expertly shaped hats and thoughtfully curated accessories.
